This past Wednesday evening, Hive 53 had their second Swarm this summer. We had a special guest. His name is Bartek Gola from Poznan. He is the General Partner and CEO at SpeedUp Venture Capital Group. They are involved in the growth of 25 startups in the Poznan area. The funny thing is that the VC group is a startup themselves. He came to share some of his wisdom with the startups of Krakow. In a previous post, you read about the Emotional Rollercoaster that every entrepreneur faces. He shared this rollercoaster with us. I agree with him that like a good golf swing, business is mostly mental rather than hard skills. When I stop over-thinking the swing, I end up making the best shots.
The good news for all entrepreneurs is that they are not alone. Everyone experiences the same thing. This "ride" can apply to just about anything in life, be it a relationship or a political campaign. Mr. Gola gave us three ways to help us from crashing:
1. Do your job right and make use of all the knowledge and wisdom you can get.
2. When conditions are right, go to market as soon as possible. "Revenue solves all known problems."
3. Understand that your problems and fears are 100% normal.
As long as you can keep calm and learn to tread water, you will be okay. He encourages us not to give up.

Pen Nochio is a set of educational apps being developed by Mofables. It uses scientifically proven systematic phonetic method to teach toddler to read. Parental app is planned that provide parents with handful of useful tips how to increase the learning effectiveness and give them a way to boast about their kids progress.
